Machelle Lee Hall graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University in 1996 with a B.A. in anthropology and religion, and graduated from Central European University in 2000 with an M.A. in Nationalism Studies. She received her J.D. from Tulane Law School in New Orleans in 2008, where she served as the Editor in Chief of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, was a guest editor for the Tulane Law Review, and won the Excellence for the Future Award for studies in Corporate Tax. Ms. Lee Hall has completed more than forty hours of mediation training.
Most of her time is spent working on commercial and successions litigation. The balance of her work is in toxic torts, environmental litigation, government takings, personal injury, medical malpractice and hurricane-related property damage.
Ms. Lee Hall serves as a board member or officer for the New Orleans Citizen’s Diplomacy Council, the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, the Association for Women Attorneys, and the Linda Bruneau Regional Breast Cancer Society.
Ms. Lee Hall is licensed to practice in Louisiana, and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts.
